Beer with Spirulina
The craft beer with Spirulina Severino Becagli is produced by a brewery located in the heart of Val d’Orcia, in Tuscany.
It is a blonde beer produced following traditional recipes and without the addition of preservatives, flavorings and chemical additives.
Our beer is made using high quality raw materials from carefully selected companies.
The water employed is the one from Vivo d’Orcia, the spring water of Mount Amiata, perfect in terms of mineral salt concentration, pH and hardness.
In order to preserve the final product’s nutritional and organoleptic properties, this beer undergoes two fermentations: the first one takes place inside stainless steel and the other one directly in the bottle.
The result is a “raw” beer, unfiltered and unpasteurized, with a compact and persistent foam. A fruity beer, with an excellent balance between its distinctive flavor and the bitterness of the hops employed.
The presence of Spirulina is given away by both fragrance and color.
It has a fresh and clean taste and is suitable for all occasions: it can be enjoyed on its own or accompanied by sophisticated, traditional or innovative dishes.
The slight turbidity or any sediment on the bottom are characteristic of the craft product and do not affect quality and taste.
Should there be any variation in color, this will not affect the beer’s properties.
