Beer with Spirulina
The organic craft beer with Spirulina Severino Becagli is produced by an agricultural brewery located in the suggestive territory of Siena, where the cultivation of cereals has deep historical roots.
The distinctive element of this agricultural brewery, the first to have obtained organic certification in Tuscany, is the care of every single moment of the production process, from the cultivation of precious and ancient varieties of cereals, to the selection of hops and, lastly, bottling.
Our organic beer with spirulina is obtained by following traditional recipes and without the use of preservatives, flavorings and chemical additives. In fact, through the organic method, cereals maintain their characteristics unaltered and guarantee multiple benefits, respecting the environment and safeguarding our health.
This beer undergoes two fermentations: the first one takes place inside stainless steel nd the other one directly in the bottle. The result is a “raw” beer, unfiltered and unpasteurized, with a compact and persistent foam.
A fruity beer, with an excellent balance between its distinctive flavor and the bitterness of the hops employed, with slight hints of honey given by the malted cereal.
The presence of Spirulina is given away by both fragrance and color. It has a fresh and clean taste and is suitable for all occasions: it can be enjoyed on its own or accompanied by sophisticated, traditional or innovative dishes.
The slight turbidity or any sediment on the bottom are characteristic of the craft product and do not affect quality and taste. Should there be any variation in color, this will not affect the beer’s properties.
Our craft beer blends together a unique taste and all the benefits belonging to Severino Becagli’s Spirulina which is rich in proteins, vitamins and antioxidants.
How to pour the beer: slowly rotate the bottle to allow the natural deposits on the bottom to stir. Open the bottle and pour the beer making it slide on the top of the glass (slightly inclined, about 45°). Pour beer at midpoint of the glass, tilt the glass upright as you reach the halfway point and finish pouring holding it vertically, making a uniform layer of foam.
